1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Eat List (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Eat List is a restaurant saving application that allows you to save, organise, and track restaurants you want to visit. The App integrates with social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok to allow you to save restaurants directly from shared content.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Use automated means to scrape or collect data from the App

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any notes, reviews, or other content you create within the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store and display this content as necessary to provide the service.

6. Third-Party Content

The App may display content from third-party sources including Instagram, TikTok, and Google Maps. We do not control or endorse this content and are not responsible for its accuracy. Restaurant information may change without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Viking Tech and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the restaurant data you create within the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viking Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
